About

My shop is on my family's small farm in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York where I've lived my whole life. This year will be my 25th  year of carving full time. My customers appreciate my attention to detail as well as the character that I put into my carvings. Since my work is done freehand and mostly by chainsaw no two carvings are exactly alike.

My customers truly cherish the carvings they purchase from me and they usually come back for more and send their friends and family to me as well. I have several loyal customers who come back year after year purchasing carvings for themselves as well as for gifts.

I sell from my current inventory. I try to maintain an inventory of finished carvings in stock and my inventory is constantly changing.

My carvings are allowed to dry until the wood has lost most of it's moisture content. Then I repair any major cracks or checking that have formed during the drying process before applying any finishes. This keeps future cracking and checking of the wood to a minimum.

Bears are my most popular item and what I am best known for but I usually have other subjects in inventory.
